In the Middle Ages, it was supposed to give the wearer insight and foresight, and to cure insomnia. In 1910 a Aquamarine crystal was found in Brazil that weighed 243 pounds! It was 19 inches long and 16 inches wide, and the British Museum of Natural History has a flawless, sea-green aqua which weighs 880 carats.
